13 alphabet books inspire

The ABC - Ö scenographic exhibition inspires children to embrace letters, based on 13 selected books:
The Princesses' Flower Alphabet by Ottilia Adelborg (1892), The ABC Journey by Elsa Beskow (1945), ABC by Stig Lindberg/Britt G. Hallqvist (1951), ABC by Poul Ströyer/Lennart Hellsing (1961), Majas Alfabet by Lena Anderson (1984), ABCD-boken by Mati Lepp (1997), ABC-boken by Jan Lööf (1999), ABC-bok by Owe Gustafson (2001), Alfie's ABC by Gunilla Bergström (2002), Lilla ABC med Rut, Knut & Tjut by Stina Wirsén/Carin Wirsén (2003), Från Apglad till Öronvax. En ABC-bok by Pernilla Stalfelt (2004), Livets ABC by Lisen Adbåge (2020), and Mumindalens alfabet by Tove Jansson/Annika Sandelin (2021).
Children from preschool and kindergarten are invited to workshops with letters, prepared by illustrators/authors Stina Wirsén and Pernilla Stalfelt. On weekends for children aged 5-7, booked through the reception. Students from Nyckelvik School run 46 workshops. Read more and book your place here.
There will also be workshops for the public on a number of selected occasions: 10/12, 11/12, 17/12, 18/12, 27/12, 28/12, 29/12, 2/1, 3/1, 4/1, 7/1, 8/1, 14/1 and 15/1. Time: 13.00-15.00. Registration of children (5-7 years) and an accompanying adult takes place at the reception desk at Liljevalchs. Places are limited.
A conference on letters and language is organised for educators from preschools, pre-schools, years 1 to 3 and librarians in the Sculpture Hall on 11 January. Read more here and register here.
