Creator workshop: Cyanotype
February 27th - March 30th
Welcome to Liljevalchs' creative workshop, where children and young people have the opportunity to get extra close to art and artists.
In this workshop, anyone 10 years old or older will get the chance to try out cyanotype, an ancient way of developing images characterized by their typical blue hue, cyanoblue. In addition to cyanotyping, we will also sketch, draw and draw in different shapes of blue.
The program is developed in collaboration with the artist Cecilia Ömalm and is part of a series of programs where we invite professional artists to develop their artistry in meeting with a young audience.
The artist Cecilia Ömalm will be present in the Art Lab on a number of selected occasions, on other days the workshop will be led by the Kunsthalle's educational staff and hosts - all practicing artists themselves.
