Two unique viewings of the exhibition Heart Brain - with Marika and CG Wachtmeister

For over 50 years, Marika and CG Wachtmeister have built up a unique art collection in parallel with the creation of Wanås Art, one of Northern Europe's most mythical and appreciated sculpture parks with an international reputation.

The unique collection of contemporary art consists of 300 works and about 160 of these now take place and are shown in the exhibition Heart Brain at Liljevalchs.

The Wachtmeisters started collecting art in the 1970s and now have an extensive collection. One of the works is artist Monika Larsen Dennis' 1997 glass sculpture Heartbrain (red), a cast heart the size of a brain. According to this heart-brain logic, the Wachtmeisters' collection emerges, where the love of art expresses how we can understand our present.

At these special viewing events, Marika and CG Wachtmeister themselves talk about the collection, the art and the exhibition Hjärtahjärna at Liljevalchs.

The number of seats is limited, the duration of the tour is approximately 45 minutes. The ticket is also valid as admission to the art gallery on the same day.
