Follow the Spring Salon's jury chairman Isak Nilson on a guided tour of this year's exhibition. The film is made in collaboration with Micasa Fastigheter.
Since 2014, Liljevalchs, together with Micasa, the real estate company that owns and manages senior housing and Stockholm's care properties, has run a joint accessibility project that brings art to Micasa's tenants, seniors and residents with special needs.
Traditionally, this is also done this year, and as usual in the form of a filmed presentation of the Spring Salon. Through a simple recording, Micasa's tenants are invited to join an art tour from home. The tour lasts about 20 minutes and is led by Vårsalongen's jury chairman Isak Nilson, who shows a selection of the artworks and talks about the trends in this year's exhibition.
"With over 100 years of history, the Spring Salon has become a popular tradition and is now one of the major art events of the year. Of course, even those who can't get out here to Djurgården should have the chance to take part in the experience that a visit to the salon entails." says Isak Nilson.
