Liljevalchs has been closed since 1 November, but now we can invite the audience to see this year's spring salon from Friday 21 May.
"It's wonderful that we finally get to open! We aim to carefully launch Vårsalongen on 21 May at 11 am and of course follow the guidelines of the Public Health Agency of Sweden and the City of Stockholm," says Mårten Castenfors, Head of Liljevalch.
According to the current regulations for museums and art galleries, each visitor must be able to dispose of 10 square meters. Liljevalch's visitor area thus provides the opportunity for an audience of 100 people at the same time.
The opening day is open from 11 am to 7 pm and only pre-purchased tickets apply. Pre-purchases are made via link on liljevalchs.se from 19 May at 11 am. Later in the exhibition period, it will also be possible to buy a ticket on site, in a cure outside the entrance. Liljevalchs is now completely cash-free.
The art gallery has hand sanitizer and plexiglass for the protection of the public and staff. We have extra cleaning continuously throughout the day of all public areas, and our art hosts make sure that everyone keeps their distance and follows the two-meter rule.
The spring salon 2021 lasts all summer, until 22 August. 353 works by 158 artists are on display. Liljevalchs is open every day of the week from 11 am to 5 pm, Tuesday and Thursday evening open until 7 pm.
