I was born in Leningrad, and "Debut" is one of the drawings from "The Other Side" series dedicated to my childhood, where I tried to combine text and image. "Debut" was inspired by my first dance performance in the Leningrad Concert Hall "Oktyabrsky", which was shown on television. It was really a great honor, and the whole family gathered in front of our black and white TV to watch the concert. It was the year 1985.
