Guided Tour in English: Ylva Snöfrid

Join us for a guided tour in English of Ylva Snöfrid’s exhibition The House of the Muses.

The tour will offer a deeper understanding for Ylva Snöfrid’s artistic practice and the process behind the exhibition. You will also learn more about the thirteen rooms that make up The House of the Muses, each dedicated to one of the nine Muses or one of the four elements. The tour is led by our art guide Heavens Okwuego.

Ylva Snöfrid is known for her performative works, pushing the boundaries of painting; within Snöfrid’s ritualized world, everything revolves around painting that moves between figuration and matter. Her artistic process often takes place in communal rooms and in collective rituals, where she takes on the role as a mediator between work and reality. The House of the Muses is the most extensive presentation of her practice to date and comprises four hundred paintings, thousands of sketches and prints, as well as specially crafted furniture and various objects.

The guided tour is held in English. The duration is approx. 1 hr. Limited capacity. Prepurchase your ticket to ensure your spot. The ticket is also valid as an entrance to the exhibition.
