My experience of living in different cultures, including the industrial societies compared to the
society I grew up in, and a curiosity toward the usage of languages as a medium for making
significance and communication have always sparked my mind.
Empathy, making conversations and speaking your heart, figuratively pouring it out one’s heart
in front of a person of trust is a way to alleviate the burden of suffering and all of the unsolved
tensions one may have to deal with in her or his own psyche.
On one hand, therapists are specialized individuals who are responsible for this process in the
modern days and industrialized lives of people who live in societies – which may be far different
than to opening up with a person who you trusted as either a family member, a relative,
long-time friend, or a loved one, than to someone who is merely willing to help as her or his
professional job.
This may be difficult to put in words, how I found the same medium (language) with the function
of communication to be turning into a mean for hiding people’strue intentions – like a mask.
On the other hand speaking about one’s pain to another individual can double the pressure for
people who were not exposed to the issue.
The choice of Persian font is made because of the interconnectedness that exists between
letters in any of the words in that language, while the letters possess no meaning in isolation.
The idea behind the use of metal as the material is a total personal matter, I started to use
metals mostly during the covid when I finally achieved my long-awaited dream of having
workshops to work with this material
